Job Title: Controller – Finance & Accounts (F&A)
Job Summary
The Controller – F&A is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls. This role manages accounting functions, budgeting, audits, and financial strategy to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., Ind AS / IFRS / GAAP)
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records
- Assist in Budgeting and Forecasting
2. Internal Controls & Risk Management
- Develop and maintain robust internal control systems
- Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and financial governance frameworks
3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity
- Manage banking relationships
4. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team
- Set performance goals and conduct regular reviews
- Drive process improvements and automation
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent
Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in finance & accounting
- 4-5 years Experience in leadership roles preferred
Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations
- Expertise in financial analysis and reporting
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo Preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
